The unilateral copper layer thickness of Xinhesheng copper-clad steel round wire is ≥0.25mm, suitable for grounding wire or lightning protection strip with a diameter between φ8 and φ14. If the diameter exceeds φ14, the material is relatively hard, inconvenient for construction, and not recommended for use.
Xinhesheng copper-clad steel with 3 strands is suitable for S50 - S95 square stranded wire. Xinhesheng copper-clad steel with 7 strands is suitable for S95 - S185 square stranded wire. Xinhesheng copper-clad steel with 19 strands is suitable for square stranded wire above S185. Features of Xinhesheng copper-clad steel stranded wire: 1. Thick copper layer: The unilateral copper layer of each point exceeds 0.25mm, different from the traditional copper-coated steel stranded wire. For example, the maximum thickness of 30% conductivity is only 0.1mm. The corrosion resistance of the stranded wire with a copper layer thickness of 0.1mm has shown corrosion in many companies. However, the corrosion resistance of copper-clad steel with a copper layer thickness of more than 0.25mm has been recognized in the market. 2. High thermal stability coefficient: Different from single-strand round wire, the conductivity of Xinhesheng copper-clad steel round wire can reach up to 40%. 3. Convenient for construction: Achieving true annealed soft state, it can be constructed on the construction site without tools. Different from traditional stranded wire, when cut with scissors or a cutting saw, the ordinary stranded wire will spread out. However, Xinhesheng copper-clad steel stranded wire will not spread out, facilitating construction and exothermic welding. 4. Improve the drawing diameter of the single wire. The innovative design of 3 strands, 7 strands, and 19 strands greatly reduces the material cost and increases the promotion value under the premise of ensuring the quality of Xinhesheng copper-clad steel stranded wire (the copper layer thickness is greater than 0.25mm). 5. Achieve super-large cross-sectional area. According to different situations, the maximum can reach 300mm². The diameter of the copper-clad steel round bar with a cross-sectional area of 150mm² in the past exceeds 14.2mm. Even the diameter of the soft copper-clad steel round wire is greater than 14mm, which poses considerable difficulties in construction. The new type of Xinhesheng continuous casting copper-clad steel stranded wire can produce stranded wire with a cross-sectional area of more than 300mm², and the construction is still convenient. Therefore, as a substitute and supplementary product of copper-clad steel round wire, for the copper-clad steel horizontal grounding body with a cross-sectional area greater than 120mm², we recommend Xinhesheng 7-strand braided round copper-clad steel round wire.
